Blog Tour-Ashley's Craft Room

The mom-stuff team is having so much fun with the Mom-Stuff Blog Tour. We want to thank Ashley for sharing her blog with us. Today’s post is Valentine Candy Ball. This craft is as pretty as it is sweet. Visit Ashley at http://ashleys-craftroom.blogspot.com for this great ideas and more. She has some of the funniest ideas for moms to craft with their kids.

Valentine Candy Ball

Materials:
Candy Kisses
Styrofoam craft ball
Low heat glue
Low heat glue gun
Scissors
Fun ribbon in different widths (Valentines colors)
Craft beads

Instructions:
The first thing that I did was get my 4 year old son to come help me. I plugged in the glue gun. I had him pull all of the Hershey tags out of the kisses. I put a spot of glue on the Styrofoam ball then he would place a kiss where I put the glue. We did this half way around the ball. Then we glued 8 inch piece of satin ribbon to the top of the ball folding it in half forming the loop for the hanger. We glued the kisses around the ribbon loop and finished covering the foam ball with kisses. We now made a small 3-inch loops with the fun valentines ribbon and craft beads. These are placed in-between the Hershey Kisses to hide the foam ball.
Have a very happy Valentine’s Day crafting with your kids.
